Sandy Osborne Preschool Director

Dear Parent and Student,

I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Sandy Osborne and I have been the director of CFBC Preschool since 2004. My husband Tom and all three of our children are members at First Baptist Church of Clyde. Both our daughters attended preschool here and we all loved the program. I began teaching various classes in 2001 and discovered that children and all the love they bring with them is where my heart is. I love each and every child here as if they were my very own. So, with that said, I want to extend to you and your child our warmest welcome to our preschool family.

We provide a very academically structured program at CFBC Preschool, but first and foremost, we teach about Christ and the Bible in a very loving, caring, and nurturing environment. Along with all of our academics, we also will provide your child with physical education, music, and plenty of fun!

Please know that my door is always open to you and your family. I would love to speak with you about any new ideas or comments you may have for us, as well as any concerns.

On behalf of all the staff and myself, we are looking forward to getting to know you and your child and having a wonderful, exciting year at preschool.

Janet Williams Lead Teacher

Hi!  My name is Janet Williams.  I am the lead teacher at CFBC Preschool and have been teaching here since 1997.  It is an honor for me to work with God’s greatest blessings, children.  I truly love being a part of changing a child’s life.  My husband Keith and I have two sons and three grandchildren. Our younger went to preschool here, at which time I decided to become a part of this wonderful program. My family attends Pinnacle Church where we love and serve the Lord.  We love to spend time with our friends and family.  When we go on vacation, the beach is my favorite place to go.

Rebecca Frazier

My name is Rebecca Frazier, and I have been at Clyde First Baptist since 2016. Although I did take a short break, I am excited about returning to the classroom this year. I have two daughters who both attended CFBP. They are very active and currently both march with Pisgah Marching band. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year!

Rachel Hall

Hello! I am Rachel Hall. I have two children that both attended CFBC Preschool.  I’m very excited to be a part of this preschool and watch your children grow and learn.  In my free time I like to travel and tend to my many fur babies at home.

Rene Knight

Hello, my name is Rene! My husband and I have one daughter together, Isabel, who is currently enrolled in CFBP. I love to teach children and believe that artist expression through crafts is both fun and developmentally beneficial! I look forward to getting to know you and your child.

Shana Lokerson

Hi! My name is Shana Lokerson. My husband Arlie and I have two grown children with two sweet grandaughters that we enjoy spending time with. As a family, we love camping and being outdoors. We are very involved in our church, Burnette Siding Baptist Church. I love to watch children grow and learn. I can’t wait to get to know yours!

Caroline Martinez

Hi there! My name is Caroline Martinez! My husband and I have three beautiful baby girls, whom all attended CFBC Preschool. He is a preacher but our home church is Center Pigeon Baptist Church. I have been teaching in childcare for 12 years and went to college for Early Childhood Education. The Lord has given me a heart for children and I truly love fulfilling His purpose for me.

Jenny Rogers

Hello! My name is Jenny Rogers. This is my fourth year at CFBCP. I have been married for sixteen years with twin girls in elementary school, who attended preschool here in addition to two grown stepchildren. We attend church at Piney Grove Methodist Church and are very active in the church. One of my greatest joys has always been children. I love to see them grow, learn, and blossom! I cannot wait for another fantastic year!

Lesley Ruff

Hello! My name is Lesley. My husband and I have one daughter together who is in high school. I have been working in childcare since 1998. I love to help children learn and watch them grow. My family and I attend Pinnacle Church.

Traci Ruff

Hello! My name is Traci Ruff. My husband Mitchell and I have two grown children and two grandchildren. Our favorite activity as a family is camping. We are members of Burnett Siding Baptist Church and are very involved. I am excited to be returning to the CFBCP and look forward to helping your children learn and grow.

Miera Scarborough

I am Miera Scarborough. I have been married to my husband, Adam, for four years. Together we enjoy taking road trips, spending time with family, and watching sports. I started with CFBCP as a substitute teacher coming back to work after fostering six kiddos over the span of a year. I grew up as one of eight children and have always loved the chaos and fun of being around a lot of children. Watching them reach different milestones is my favorite part of child care. I look forward to a great year of loving on your children, and getting to work with your families.

Seana Surrett

Hi, my name is Seana Surrett. My husband Nathaniel and I have three children: Landen, Jackson, and Lillian. This is my second year at CFBCP. We attend Old River Baptist Church and love God, football, and our kids! I cannot wait to get to know your child this year!

Jamie West

Hello! My husband and I have two teenage boys. I have worked in childcare since I was in high school and went to college for early childhood education with a focus on special education. I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful preschool family and to work with the incredible children in our preschool.

Samantha White

Hello, my name is Mrs. Sam! I started working at CFBCP as a substitute teacher and thoroughly enjoyed each time I got to work with all the kiddos. I made a choice to be a part of the preschool family and have loved every minute of it. I have two children of my own and we enjoy being outdoors and spending family time with each other. We have a church family at the Orchard Church. I cannot wait to work with you and your child.

Monica Yates

Hi!  I am Monica Yates.  I have been teaching at CFBCP since 2008. My husband Steve and I have two boys which both attended preschool here. We as a family spend a lot of time outside, which includes camping, fishing and hiking.  Our family attends Rocky Face Baptist Church.  My family is very important to me and we spend lots of time together. I love working with children and seeing them smile.

Ashley Vaughn

Hi! My name is Ashley Vaughn. My husband and I have two children that attend CFBC Preschool. Our family also includes two dogs, Chase and Charlie, and a cat named Monkey. We enjoy spending time together as a family and finding new adventures. I’m excited to be a part of CFBC Preschool and to work with your children.

We are the school’s Chapel leaders. We lead the children in songs, read them stories and teach them about the joy of learning about and worshiping the Lord.
